Our Mission
The mission of the Florence & Laurence Spungen Family Foundation is to improve the quality of life of individuals and families facing health challenges, and to address issues that particularly affect the Jewish community.
The foundation’s geographic focus is on the local communities of its board members, as well as nationally and internationally, when appropriate to its mission.

The Next Generation of the Spungen Family FoundationThe children of Florence and Laurence Spungen serve as trustees of our family foundation, shepherding our founders’ vision and encouraging the next generation to engage in philanthropy and give back to their communities. In line with this, the Foundation Board welcomed its first Next Generation member in February 2021.
