On the upper card, the sender is identified as Julius Israel Hess; on the lower card, Marie Sara Weiner. Both had to be handed to a postal clerk and checked.

Pictured Above: 100-pfennig plus 5-pfennig Hindenburg Medallion stamps properly paid post card postage (15 pfennigs), air mail surcharge (40 pfennigs), and special delivery fee (50 pfennigs), canceled July 22, 1941, at Vienna, censored at Frankfurt, arrived at New York on August 7, 1941.
