Hyatt Regency O’Hare Special Dinner Event

In conjunction with the World’s Fair of Money August 11-15th, the Spungen Foundation will be co-sponsoring a dinner with Charlotte Krueger being flown in from Berlin Germany to address collectors and dealers from all over the world. This past May, Charlotte released her book, My grandfather, the counterfeiter. A search for traces of a Nazi’s career.

Bernhard Krueger was the Nazi Commandant responsible for the counterfeiting operation (“Operation Bernhard”) of the Bank of England currency at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp just north of Berlin during WWII.

Charlotte Krueger will be attending several Chicagoland area venues August 9th – 13th.
