The Spungen Foundation since the summer of 2013 has given scholarships to graduating seniors from Billings (Montana) West High School for going to Auschwitz with Eva Kor (CANDLES Holocaust Museum, Terre Haute IN).

In the spring of 2017, Billings students unable to go to Poland used their spring break time to come to our home for an in-depth “Survivor’s Week.” The students and teacher (Rob Stanton) visit Baha’i Temple, CANDLES and Illinois Holocaust Museum.

When at our home for lunches/dinners, Holocaust and other Genocide related speakers tell their story.

For 2019, our 3rd year, the Spungen Foundation teamed up with Carmel Catholic High School students to attend the dinner events.
