The Spungen Foundation will exhibit specialized material related to the story of Operation Bernhard (the counterfeiting of the Bank of England currency notes by selected Jews in the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp by the Nazis).

In conjunction with the ANA World’s Fair of Money, the Spungen Foundation will have Renata Laxova as the Key Note speaker at two events on August 7th (PEER Chain Company – Waukegan, IL, and a post-show dinner gathering for out-of-town ANA attendees). Renata is a Holocaust refugee/survivor saved by the efforts of Sir Nicholas Winton (Nicky’s Family).
