Last Wednesday evening, November 5, 2025, Agnes Schwartz shared her story with the 8th grade class of the Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in Chicago. The students were accompanied by their parents as they heard from Agnes about her experiences in Budapest, Hungary during the Holocaust.
Afterwards, the students acted as docents for their parents and community, showing what they’d learned earlier that day about the artifacts from the Spungen Foundation Holocaust postal collection.
This evening event was featured on the local news. You can view the NBC clip HERE.
